Game creators engaged in live and immersive experiences have over the past year been exploring a variety of ways to reinvent what we do in online settings. Leveraging Second Life’s avatar embodiment and abundance of user-created content—from buildings, to animations, to costumes—renowned larp and participatory theatre designers, including IndieCade finalists, have joined forces to create SLarp Fest, a mini festival of “virtual” larps.

Taking Place at the IndieCade Oasis in Second Life, co-produced with The Playable Theatre Project, hosted by Second Life.
